Environmental Research:
The production of
each product opens a string of questions which must be clarified
in order to optimise its production and consumption.
One should be aware of how to reduce both the consumption
of energy and raw materials and the employment of toxic substances
already during the development of products and in the methods used
for production. Within the framework of interdisciplinary teams, application
studies have been made. The results of the spectrum of these comprehensive
theses results in a concrete transformation of our understanding of
ecological balance, the construction of environmentally sustainable
products, as well as the research of social and political aspects of
the labour market for preventive environmental protection.
Research results represent a foundation for a future ecological
model on which a lifestyle can be based which will conserve natural
resources, minimise the discharge of emissions and allow a substantial
prevention of wastes.

Ecological Consulting
The highest goal
of every environmental protection measure should be the prevention
of negative ecological impact. Within the confines of a comprehensive
environmental protection plan one should include prevention of solid,
fluid and gas emissions, as well as sustainable utilisation of raw
materials.
Without a comprehensive overview of the environmental consequences,
there can be no guarantee that individual environmental burdens will
not simply be transfered.
The method of ecological balancing demonstrates the special
points of departure and problem areas of environmental impact. It also
offers a well-grounded basis for establishing short- and long-term
measures. With this as background
- ecological
balancing of products and production will be undertaken
as well as
- product-
and branch related concepts will be drawn up for reduction
of environmental burdens.
These researches
represent the basis for consulting communities, plants and associations.
